Our Practice

Danielle S. Archer, Law Practice, is a sole practitioner's legal office that provides a refreshing mix of youthful exuberance, high quality training, personable yet professional service.  This blend facilitates flexible and innovative billing arrangements which includes, capped fees and hourly rates as also contingency fees.

The Practice is result oriented and is driven by a passion for the law and its fair application.

We are inspired by an appreciation of our desire for justice regardless of the cost, and our Practice seeks always to secure for each and every person "Justice dispensed with Compassion and Integrity".  In our Chambers, our Clients are guaranteed to receive legal advice of the highest quality whilst being exposed to service tapered with compassion and integrity. This is what defines us as "the people's practice".

Litigation is Danielle’s forte.  She finds preparing for and conducting trials exhilarating. She is deemed a Court Warrior having commenced her practice with the Litigation Division of Chancellor & Co. in 2005.  Since 2009 she has consistently been retained by other Attorneys to argue matters on behalf of their clients. However, she is conscious of the value of exploring other alternatives to the costly approach of a trial.  Taking note of the skills of listening and the value of mediations, Danielle became trained in the Art of Mediation and was gazetted as a Mediator in 2018.

Being trained in mediation and having sharpened her court room skills, Danielle has participated in many successful Mediations and Negotiations for businesses and individuals.

Being a ‘Court Room Lawyer’ she has honed her skills in drafting Court documents, Agreements, Arguments, Opinions, Interim Court Applications and takes particular interest in developing a solution-oriented strategy. After working with the Government of Jamaica and in private practice Danielle is a proven Team Player and Leader.

Her experience covers:

• Matters in Constitutional Law, Construction and Interpretation of Contracts
• Matters involving Real estate, Negligence, Personal Injury, False Imprisonment, Malicious Prosecution Claims, Breach of Contract and Fraud And Industrial Relations [including Disciplinary Proceedings conducted by Companies for and on behalf employers and employees].
• Matters involving Family Issues (Divorce, Child Maintenance).

As an Advocate Danielle S Archer accepts referrals for Criminal Matters and assists other attorneys who appear before the General Legal Council.
